Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is seeking a Lead Python Full-Stack Engineer to join in a hybrid mode. You will build scalable, cloud-native apps with AI/ML, combining Python backend with React/TypeScript frontend, and integrate LLM-based solutions.

You will design and implement REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines in Azure, working within cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features and ensure observability and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with Python as the main language.
• Strong backend development using FastAPI or similar Python frameworks.
• Proficiency in React.js and TypeScript for frontend work.
• Hands-on AI/ML integration experience, including LLM APIs and LangChain.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
• Experience with microservices, REST/GraphQL, and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience building RAG pipelines and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
