Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead Azure Engineer in the Netherlands to drive cloud modernization and robust CI/CD pipelines in a hybrid setup. You will own deployment within Azure, AKS, and container workflows, while advancing observability with Prometheus, Grafana and Dynatrace.

Collaboration with development teams is essential to embed DevOps practices. The role requires 8+ years in DevOps/SRE, deep Azure expertise, IaC with Terraform/Ansible, and scripting skills in Bash or Python.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on Azure and cloud-native services experience.
• Expertise in CI/CD automation with modern tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins and Azure DevOps
• Manage deployment and integration within Microsoft Azure (including Kubernetes and Azure services)
• Implement container workflows with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
• Apply Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Ansible
• Monitor reliability with Prometheus, Grafana and Dynatrace
• Collaborate with dev teams to embed DevOps practices
• Support migration and modernization of integration services
• Participate in incident resolution and continuous improvement

We’re looking for a Lead Azure Engineer to join our team in the Netherlands in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, modernize infrastructure and ensure platform reliability for large-scale cloud environments. This position requires strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure, CI/CD automation, container orchestration and Infrastructure as Code.
