Vopak and Green Energy Storage are jointly advancing utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems from Breda, part of the Netherlands and international programs. The role is based at our BESS headquarters in Breda, employed directly by Green Energy Storage B.V. (GES).

You’ll lead large BESS projects from development through handover, owning safety, schedule, budget and quality. You will report to the Project Management team and collaborate with EPCs, BoP contractors, grid operators and investors

Competenze

• 5+ years PM experience in energy, infrastructure, or industrial CapEx with end-to-end responsibility for schedule, budget and quality.
• Proven track record in multidisciplinary project delivery including planning, cost control, and risk management.
• Experience with EPC projects, battery storage, grid infrastructure, or renewables is a strong advantage.
• Commercial and contractual awareness; experience in contract management and tender support.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel between sites, suppliers and contractors.

• Lead large and complex work packages from ready-to-build through execution, commissioning, handover, and close-out.
• Own safety, planning, budget, and quality; align with Tier-1 BESS integrators, BoP contractors, grid operators, authorities and investors.
• Drive decisions, resolve issues before delays, and escalate when needed.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover; ensure complete as-built documentation and warranties.
• Keep management and stakeholders informed with progress, risks, decisions and results.
