Job summary

Xylem is a Fortune 500 global water solutions company delivering sustainable water solutions. The Senior Project Engineer will lead engineering execution for industrial water and wastewater projects, overseeing filter press systems, sludge dewatering, and related process technologies.

The role acts as technical lead throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery while meeting contractual and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of project execution experience in water, wastewater, or industrial processes.
• Experience supporting EPC, Design-Build, OEM, or equipment supply projects.
• Strong leadership, change management, and team development in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities for filter press projects from contract award through final acceptance.
• Provide technical leadership in equipment design, system integration, and commissioning.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary activities across mechanical, process, electrical, and controls systems.
• Develop and maintain engineering deliverables, schedules, and milestones.
• Serve as primary technical contact for customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
