Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Project Engineer to lead water infrastructure projects in the Netherlands, spanning from initial exploration to successful delivery. You will bridge electrical, mechanical and civil engineering disciplines, ensuring seamless integration and on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires a natural connector who can manage complex, multidisciplinary projects, communicate with diverse stakeholders, and drive technical and financial success across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering multidisciplinary water infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to coordinate electrical, mechanical and civil engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly with stakeholders including water authorities, municipalities, engineering firms, industrial clients and contractors.
• Lead a multidisciplinary project team and coordinate with the drawing office, commissioning and planning teams.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets and contract documentation.
• Take responsibility for organizational and financial outcomes of projects.
• Visit customers for technical assessments and progress reviews, identifying risks and bottlenecks.
