Job summary

Syngenta Crop Protection seeks a strategic Lead Product Manager to spearhead a portfolio of digital products that strengthen how R&D generates insights, makes decisions, and optimizes scientific workflows. You will own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, delivery, adoption, and value realization for a POD area within CP R&D IT.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading product-centric teams with Agile/Lean methods.
• Strong strategy, roadmapping, portfolio management and value measurement.
• Experience with analytics, predictive modeling, decision intelligence, forecasting.
• Knowledge of AI/ML, human-in-the-loop, explainability and governance.
• Familiarity with data governance, provenance, metadata and cataloging.

Responsibilities

• Define POD vision, roadmap, and product portfolio strategy.
• Lead prioritization and investment decisions across products.
• Deliver digital products for analytics, forecasting, optimization, and AI-enabled decisions.
• Partner with R&D, data, technology, governance stakeholders to translate needs into outcomes.
• Establish and track OKRs/KPIs on adoption and performance.
• Lead backlog management, release governance, and increments.
• Drive adoption and change management through stakeholder engagement.
• Ensure products are scalable, secure, and compliant with governance.
• Manage POD risks, dependencies, vendors, and partners.
• Coach and develop Product Managers within the POD.
• Executive reporting on performance, initiatives, budget, metrics.
• Competitive analysis and market intelligence in AI/analytics for R&D.
• Implement continuous improvement with user feedback and data.
• Oversee budget allocation and financial performance for the POD.
