Job summary

KRUSH Labs is seeking an experienced NPI Engineer to bridge product design and manufacturing. You will establish production systems and strategies, ensuring high quality standards from concept through volume production.

You will lead cross-functional teams, optimize processes, and implement robust manufacturing instructions. This role demands strong leadership, detailed process knowledge, and a passion for turning research into deployed technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience in setting up NPI processes from scratch.
• 5+ years of experience in NPI or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems.
• Strong root-cause analysis skills to troubleshoot yields and bottlenecks.
• Excellent leadership and project coordination abilities for cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up NPI processes in the production site.
• Develop, document, and validate manufacturing processes, assembly instructions, and SOPs.
• Review product designs for manufacturability, assembly, and testing; identify risks early.
• Manage project timelines from concept to volume production.
• Lead quality tools (e.g., FMEA) to mitigate production risks.
• Coordinate selection, design, and validation of production tools and fixtures.
• Serve as liaison between R&D, supply chain, QA, and mass production teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented NPI Engineer to join our engineering team. The NPI (New Product Introduction) Engineer plays a critical role in bridging the gap between product design and manufacturing. This position is responsible for setting up a production system and strategy with the high quality standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in NPI or manufacturing engineering
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems
• Strong understanding of assembly processes, testing methodologies, and quality standards
• Strong root-cause analysis skills to troubleshoot yields, component failures, and production bottlenecks
• Excellent leadership and project coordination abilities to align diverse, global, or cross-functional teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Key responsibilities

• Setting up an NPI processes in the production site
• Develop, document, and validate manufacturing processes, assembly instructions, and standard operating procedures
• Review and valuating product designs to ensure they are optimized for manufacturing, assembly and testing. Identifying potential production issues early in the development cycle.
• Manage project timelines, ensuring products move efficiently through gated development phases from concept to volume production
• Lead quality tools like Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis to identify and address potential production risks early Coordinate the selection, design, and validation of production tools, jigs, fixtures, and test equipment.
• Serve as the primary liaison between R&D, supply chain, quality assurance, and mass production teams. Collaboration closely with cross-functional to ensure that all aspects of the product development lifecycle are aligned with manufacturing capabilities
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes
