As an expert ML Engineer you will lead our Data team and build AI solutions for clients and for Sia's own projects, collaborating with Dutch and French teams and global units. You will guide model production, mentor engineers, and contribute to thought leadership.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS / AI / math or related field.
• 2–4 years building production ML/DL pipelines and models.
• Strong ML fundamentals with domain focus in CV, NLP or DL.
• Proficient in Python and at least one of Scala/C++/Java.
• Hands-on experience with SQL/PostgreSQL and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Git in DevOps workflows.
• Experience with Spark/Hadoop/Databricks and big data tech.
• Ability to coach/mentor engineers; willingness to travel; English & Dutch fluency.

Responsibilities

• Lead an internal team toward AI product development.
• Work in a multidisciplinary team on client projects as an expert.
• Make architectural and design decisions for cloud environments.
• Build production ML/AI solutions with solid software engineering.
• Guide Data Scientists to production (parallelizing, tuning, testing).
• Provide trainings, lead internal meetings and external events.
• Participate in client meetings/workshops and knowledge sharing.
• Write blog posts, present at conferences and issue press releases.
