Job summary

Sia, a global management consulting group, is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to grow and lead our Data team in Amsterdam. You will shape the future of ML within Sia, work on client projects, and contribute to building Sia AI solutions alongside Dutch and French teams.

You will guide data scientists to scale models to production, make architectural decisions for cloud environments, and lead trainings and external events while collaborating across business units.

Qualifications

• MSc-level education in Computer Science, AI, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience building production-quality ML/DL pipelines and models.
• Strong ML fundamentals with domain knowledge (CV, NLP, etc.).
• Expert coding in Python and at least one of Scala, C++, Java.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructures (AWS/GCP/Azure) and DevOps tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead an internal team to develop AI products.
• Collaborate on client projects as a subject-matter expert.
• Make architectural and design decisions for cloud environments.
• Build production ML/AI solutions with solid software engineering.
• Mentor Data Scientists to scale models to production.
• Deliver trainings, run internal/external events, present at conferences.
