Job summary

SiTime Corp. in the Netherlands is seeking a Sr. Post-Silicon Validation Engineer to lead the productization of MEMS-based timing devices. In this highly visible role, you will work cross-functionally to ensure system-level performance and guide validation from design to production.

You will plan and execute validation, develop test automation, mentor junior engineers, and drive improvements in metrology and data analysis using MATLAB, Python and C/C++.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in productization of semiconductor sensor-based devices.
• Experience leading engineering project teams and creating verification plans.
• Fundamental knowledge of mixed-signal circuits.
• Hands-on experience with electronics lab instrumentation.
• Strong programming in MATLAB, Python, C, and/or C++.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and ATE integration.
• Strong statistical analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute device validation and characterization, incl. plans/reports.
• Coordinate validation, characterization and release to production across sites.
• Collaborate with MEMS and circuit design teams on silicon evaluation and improvements.
• Design and implement test automation for MEMS timing products.
• Develop PCB test platforms and firmware for automated data capture and analysis.
• Perform engineering failure analysis to root cause issues.
• Promote best practices to improve validation/industrialization efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineers.
