Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb Netherlands seeks an experienced Lead Material Operations Specialist I to manage routine material handling, from receipt to shipping, in a GMP environment. The role emphasizes cold-chain, ambient materials, and strong SAP/eWM proficiency. On-call rotations and strict adherence to SOPs are required.

The candidate will ensure proper labeling, inventory control, and compliant documentation while supporting ongoing GMP initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a cGMP warehouse environment with strong knowledge of materials management.
• Experience with receiving, storage, issuance, inventory control, cycle counting, and management of rejected or expired materials.
• Experience handling temperature sensitive and time critical biologic materials within a cold chain environment.
• Advanced experience using SAP or other warehouse ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure routine handling of materials, including receipt, storage, transfer, distribution, disposal, and cleaning of ambient, cold-chain, and hazardous materials.
• Prepare and pack materials for shipment to internal and external customers following GMP procedures.
• Ensure all materials are correctly labeled and identified according to GMP requirements.
• Perform inventory control activities, including cycle counting and management of rejected or expired materials.
• Maintain GMP compliance and follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Respond to system and equipment alarms during and outside office hours as part of a rotating on call schedule.
