Job summary

Qabird in the Netherlands is seeking a Lead Inspection Coordinator to oversee inspection coordination across project supply chains. You will ensure equipment, materials, vendors, and processes meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements, while aligning with project schedules and budgets.

You will mentor inspection teams, manage non-conformances, report to project management and QA/QC groups, and collaborate with procurement, expediting, and package management to enable smooth project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• Certifications in inspection, quality assurance or quality control are advantageous.
• Proven track record leading inspection coordination in oil & gas or similar industries.
• Experience with vendor coordination, procurement, expediting, and supplier follow-up.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to mentor inspection teams and manage multiple activities.
• Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of inspection plans and schedules.
• Coordinate inspections with internal teams, suppliers, contractors, and regulators.
• Oversee vendor inspection processes to ensure compliance and contract alignment.
• Maintain inspection documentation including reports, certificates, and NCRs.
• Monitor compliance across inspection, testing, commissioning, and monitoring activities.
• Identify and resolve non-conformances and quality issues.
• Provide regular status updates to management and QA/QC teams.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors to clarify inspection requirements.
• Work with procurement, expediting, and package management to support delivery.
• Conduct training sessions for inspection teams on protocols and standards.
• Mentor and support junior inspectors and coordinators.
• Contribute to process improvements and reporting improvements.
