Job summary

Ore Energy in Amsterdam is seeking a Project Manager - Product Development to lead hardware product initiatives from concept through production readiness. You will coordinate across mechanical, electrochemical, chemical, systems, testing, quality, and manufacturing teams to translate objectives into actionable milestones.

The role requires 5+ years in hardware or technology product development, with a strong grasp of engineering discussions and prototyping cycles.

Qualifications

5+ years of project management experience leading hardware or technology product development from concept to market release.
Ability to understand engineering discussions across mechanical, chemical, software, and testing disciplines.
Strong foundation in hardware development frameworks, prototyping loops, DV T/PVT, or Agile hybrid processes.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional product development projects for battery cells, modules, and systems from concept to production readiness.
Maintain the core product development plan with milestones, deliverables, timelines, and ownership.
Coordinate activities across mechanical, electrochemical, chemical, systems, testing, quality, and manufacturing teams.
Identify bottlenecks, dependencies, and risks early; assign ownership and mitigation plans.
Coordinate prototype builds, validation tests, design releases, and maturity gates.
Facilitate project reviews, design alignment sessions, and decision meetings with clear outcomes.
Provide concise status updates and timeline projections to leadership.
