SimScale GmbH is seeking a Principal GRC Architect to design and implement controls across our AWS infrastructure, aligning SOC 2 Type II with upcoming ITAR, FedRAMP, and TISAX certifications. This hands-on IC role requires translating strict standards into scalable security, privacy, and governance practices.

You will lead the compliance roadmap, engage with auditors, and ensure GDPR stewardship while enabling rapid engineering velocity and global expansion.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of AWS security controls and architectures.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable technical tasks.
• Experience with compliance audits and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SOC 2 Type II and drive readiness for ITAR, FedRAMP, and TISAX.
