Job summary

AQUABATTERY is seeking a Lead Engineer Stack to drive the membrane stack roadmap, connect R&D to manufacturing, and deliver production-ready designs for a saltwater flow battery. You will own technical outcomes, coordinate with partners, and ensure cost-conscious, scalable stack solutions.

You will translate complex requirements into concrete milestones, develop CAD drawings, and manage supply chain relationships to deliver reliable, manufacturable components for the energy storage platform.

Qualifications

• Experience developing multi-layer product assemblies.
• Proven ability to identify and qualify manufacturing partners for complex components.
• Proficient in system-level CAD including P&ID and 3D models.
• Experience in water processing, water treatment, or adjacent fluid-handling industries.
• Ability to translate constraints into a prioritized roadmap.
• Track record of turning technical outputs into concrete deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the technical roadmap for the stack track across all projects.
• Identify and qualify manufacturing partners and suppliers within budget targets.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships for stack components.
• Create system-level CAD drawings: P&ID, 3D models, production-ready blueprints.
• Translate R&D progress into buildable deliverables that meet requirements.
• Distribute activities across projects to meet milestones on time and within budget.
• Maintain progress tracking and communicate status to stakeholders.
