Haskoning in the Netherlands is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer for its Global Mission Critical Facilities Data Centre team, based in Nijmegen. You will design electrical infrastructures for data centres, manage live-site expectations, and drive reliability and safety in multi-project contexts.

The role requires a Master or Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in data centres, with strong English skills and Dutch preferred; travel between EU offices

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in electrical design within data centres or other mission critical environments.
• Proven knowledge of standard practices within the design and construction industry.
• Strong understanding of clients’ operational environments to design reliable solutions.
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken, and preferably Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Designing and delivering electrical systems for data centres, from LV distribution to HV substations including redundancy and UPS architectures.
• Defining design scope and preparing technical specifications, reports and tender documentation.
• Managing and coordinating electrical work packages across multiple projects.
• Supporting risk assessments, cost reviews and technical tender evaluations.
• Representing Haskoning during FAT, SAT and site testing and commissioning activities.
