First Case is seeking a Lead Data Center Engineer to own the complete data center site, from planning and installation to handover. You will manage power infrastructure in Tier 4 facilities, coordinate teams, and ensure safety and quality on site, with a direct line to leadership.
Based in Wateringen, NL, the role is fulltime, 38 hours per week, with a competitive salary range. You will communicate with clients, align with manufacturers, and drive on-site execution with minimal management layers.
You are responsible for the site. For the technology, the planning, the safety and for what the client experiences.
As Lead Data Center Engineer you carry responsibility for a complete data center site, or for a defined part of one: full power infrastructure in Tier 4 data centers, from preparation and engineering through installation to handover. You build the planning and the phasing, spread the teams across the work and hold progress against what was agreed. HSE is not a side issue here, you set how the work is done safely and, as work responsible person and installation responsible person, you put that on paper. Towards the client you are adviser and point of contact: you think along on choices, align with the manufacturer that commissions the systems, and keep the process on site running as tightly as possible. No management layer above you, but a direct line to the leadership and influence on how First Case sets up its work technically.
Salary €4.900 to €5.900 per month
As Lead you earn €4.900 at entry, rising to €5.900 through the CAO pay grades. This is the highest technical role at First Case: there is no higher up the technical path.
“This is the role for someone who has the craft in their hands and wants to put it to work where it matters.”
