Job summary

First Case is op zoek naar een Senior Electrical Engineer gevestigd in Rotterdam. Je leidt belangrijke installatiewerken in data centers, voert loadtests uit en signaleert en lost complexe storingen op.

Je plant werkzaamheden, stemt af met klanten en leveranciers en geeft leiding aan engineers en trainees. Je werkt als werkverantwoordelijke en installatieverantwoordelijke volgens NEN 3140, met UPS-kennis als plus.

Qualifications

• Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring als elektrotechnisch ingenieur in commercieel en industrieel bouwen, bijvoorbeeld kantoren, zorg, industrie of datacenters.
• MBO 3+ Elektrotechniek.
• NEN 3140 VP, VCA VOL en NEN 1010.
• WV en IV onder NEN 3140, of doorgroei naar deze rollen.
• Kennis van UPS-systemen, batterijen en back-up power; uitgebreide ervaring is een plus.
• U kunt een team aansturen en bent aanspreekpunt voor klanten.
• Rijbewijs B, BE is een plus.

Responsibilities

• Voer de projecten uit die er toe doen: complete installaties en load tests in Rotterdam, Den Haag en omgeving.
• Bereid werk voor, schrijf het werkplan en stem af met de klant en fabrikant.
• Onderteken overdracht en bewaak veiligheid en wie wat mag doen op de werkvloer.
• Train apprentices en assistants zodat zij uiteindelijk zelfstandig kunnen werken.
• Draag zorg voor veiligheid en naleving volgens NEN-normen.

In the data centers between Rotterdam and The Hague clients ask for First Case. And then you are the one leading the project.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, based in Rotterdam, you run the projects that matter: complete installations, load tests with the loadbank and the faults nobody else gets solved, in the data centers of Rotterdam, The Hague and well beyond. You prepare the work, write the work plan, align with the client and with the manufacturer, and sign off on the handover. As work responsible person and installation responsible person you decide how the work is done safely and who may do what. Apprentices and assistants work beside you and you train them into engineers who can run a job on their own. Extensive UPS experience is welcome, but what counts is that you learned the trade in commercial and industrial buildings and dare to carry responsibility.

The essentials: Salary €4.100 to €4.900 per month · 40 hours per week · Fulltime · Based in Rotterdam.

In this role you earn €4.100 at entry, rising to €4.900 as an experienced senior. Growing on to Lead Data Center Engineer can reach €5.900.

What you bring

• At least 5 years of experience as an electrical engineer in commercial and industrial buildings, for example offices, healthcare, industry or data centers
• MBO 3+ Electrical Engineering
• NEN 3140 VP, VCA VOL and NEN 1010
• You are the work responsible person (WV) and installation responsible person (IV) under NEN 3140, or you grow into those roles with us
• Knowledge of UPS systems, batteries and backup power, extensive experience with them is a strong plus
• You can lead a team and are a point of contact for clients
• You train apprentices and assistants into fully independent engineers
• Driver's license B, BE is a plus
