Jobster is seeking an Electrical Engineer Data Center based in Groningen to maintain the critical electrical installations that power the Netherlands' largest data centers. You will work on UPS systems, standby generators, distribution boards and related measurement and control equipment, performing preventive maintenance and documenting every action.
You will be involved in on-site commissioning of new systems, with a focus on precision and reliability.
The largest data centers in the Netherlands are in the Eemshaven. You keep the power they rely on running.
As an Electrical Engineer Data Center you work on the critical electrical installations in the Eemshaven: UPS systems, standby generators, distribution boards and the measurement and control equipment that goes with them. You carry out preventive maintenance, inspect installations, take measurements, resolve faults and record every action, because in these buildings the documentation weighs as much as the work. You are there when the manufacturer commissions new systems, so you see up close how a site is built up. If you come from commercial and industrial buildings and UPS is new to you, you learn those systems here on the installation itself. The work asks for precision and reliability: in these buildings the power must never fail.
Salary €3.300 to €4.100 per month
In this role you earn €3.300 at entry, rising to €4.100 as an experienced engineer. Growing on to Senior can later reach €4.900, but you are applying now for the Data Center Engineer role.
