Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Principal Statistician for Early Phase, fully remote across Europe. You will lead statistical strategy, design, and development plans, guiding trials from protocol through CSR while mentoring biostatistics staff.

This role requires a PhD/MS in statistics, extensive experience in clinical trials and proficiency in SAS/R; strong communication and collaboration with sponsors and cross-functional teams essential.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in biostatistics or a related field.
• Extensive experience leading multiple clinical development projects.
• Proficiency in R and SAS with strong statistical design knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of clinical development plans and Go/No Go decisions.
• Apply simulations and statistical strategy to inform trial design.
• Mentor biostatisticians and oversee training for staff.
• Oversee activities of statisticians and ensure timely, high-quality work.
• Prepare SAPs and statistical reports; collaborate with sponsors.
• Communicate with project teams and regulatory bodies as needed.
