Job summary

Van der Helm Logistics in Den Hoorn is seeking an administratively strong, customer-oriented freight forwarder with knowledge of LCL Import. You will collect, verify and coordinate information for import shipments, ensuring progress and accuracy across the logistics process.

You will prepare forwarding files with costs and revenues, keep all parties informed, and report to the Import Team Leader. We offer development opportunities and a collaborative, hands-on workplace.

Qualifications

• MBO level of professional and intellectual ability.
• Good command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in a similar role is an advantage.
• Good command of WMS and Microsoft Office 365.
• Customer-oriented attitude.
• Flexible, non-9-to-5 mentality.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and verify relevant information from and for various parties within the logistics process, focusing on Import shipments.
• Coordinate within the logistics process, monitoring the progress and completeness of orders.
• Create a forwarding file including the relevant costs, reservations, and revenues, and provide instructions for correct financial and administrative handling.
• Maintain contact with all parties regarding the operational process and report to the Import Team Leader.
• Contribute ideas for improvements and actively support the efficiency and digitalization of processes within the field.
