Job summary

Vanderlande invites a motivated student to build a Latency Impact Framework for the data layer. You will research latency bottlenecks, quantify impacts, and predict latency costs of new functionalities to safeguard performance and scalability across Vanderlande's data infrastructure.

You join the Central Data & Analytics department within a DevOps team focused on Data Layer development, working in an agile scrum environment with experienced data engineers and cloud architects.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and a team player mindset.
• Hands-on attitude in a practical test center environment.
• Affinity with robotics, autonomous vehicles, and industrial automation.
• Comfortable communicating in English within an international team environment.
• Mandatory enrolment to a Dutch Education System & resident of The Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Work with a multidisciplinary team on autonomous vehicle developments.
• Conduct hands-on testing in the test center and perform virtual simulations.
• Analyze technical issues and propose concrete improvements to boost AV performance.
• Support the team with daily engineering tasks, performance calculations, and field observations.
• Present test findings and recommendations to the development team.
