Job summary

Esther Gielis is seeking an Operational Laboratory Technician to perform ELISA tests and a range of biochemical, cellular and molecular analyses in Oss. You will prepare samples, run immunoassays, analyze data with advanced equipment and report findings.

Qualifications

• Completed MLO or HLO in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or similar (industrial lab).
• Several years of relevant work experience in an industrial laboratory.

• Experience with laboratory equipment, bioassays, and data analysis.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a laboratory technician with experience in ELISA assays. Do you enjoy working in a dynamic environment where innovation and personal growth are central?

As an Operational Laboratory Technician, you are responsible on a daily basis for performing ELISA tests and various biochemical, cellular, and molecular biological analyses. You support scientific research, analyze samples, and process research results. Everything you do contributes directly to the development of new pharmaceutical compounds and technologies.

Your average workday consists of preparing samples, performing routine (immuno)assays, analyzing data using advanced equipment, and reporting findings to your colleagues. You maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, identify and resolve technical malfunctions, and ensure the lab runs smoothly. Additionally, you actively contribute ideas regarding process improvements and making the laboratory more efficient.

Requirements

• Completed MLO or HLO education in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or similar.
• Several years of relevant work experience in an industrial laboratory.
• Demonstrable experience with ELISA assays is required.
• Experience with laboratory equipment, bioassays, and statistical data analysis.
• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written; Dutch is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on mentality.
• Proactive, flexible, independent, and communicative.
• Creative and willing to contribute ideas regarding laboratory layout and organization.
• Experience with or affinity for routine immunoassays, cell culture, and management of laboratory consumables.
