Job summary

Nebius in Amsterdam is seeking an Infrastructure L3 Documentation Engineer to build and own the knowledge system for GPU server platforms, firmware, and Linux diagnostics. You will translate complex investigations into clear, repeatable procedures for L1/L2/L3 teams and create comprehensive runbooks, SOPs, and reference materials.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in data center, server, infrastructure, production operations, or site reliability engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, server hardware, firmware, and out-of-band management.
• Proven ability to create runbooks, SOPs, or troubleshooting guides used by operations teams.
• Experience translating engineering investigations into safe, repeatable procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to structure incomplete or complex information.
• Excellent written English for readers with varying technical backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the L3 knowledge base for GPU server platforms, server hardware, firmware, and Linux diagnostics.
• Create runbooks, SOPs, troubleshooting guides, error-code documentation, onboarding materials, and platform references.
• Ensure documentation is easy to find, categorized, searchable, and linked to related materials.
• Translate engineering investigations into clear, repeatable procedures for L1/L2/L3 audiences.
• Research incomplete documentation requests using incident records and logs, updating content accordingly.
• Establish governance: templates, ownership, approvals, review cycles, and archival processes.
• Travel to data centers to observe procedures and capture knowledge for documentation.
