Job summary

Marktlink Capital in Amsterdam is seeking a motivated Master’s student to join as a KYC Intern for six months. You’ll support onboarding of investors, collaborate with AML, Sales, Fund Management and Accounting to ensure compliance and a smooth client experience.

This hands-on role offers exposure to KYC/AML in a professional PE/VC environment, with a stipend and the chance to transition to a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree in Law, or holding a HBO (Bachelor level) in Law or similar field.
• Interest in AML/KYC and willingness to expand practical knowledge.
• Good organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Dutch native speaker with strong English command.

We're looking for ambitious master’s students (at any stage of their studies) to join us as KYC Intern. This 6 month, full-time internship is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in the investment world and a fast growing company. As our business expands, the role of data becomes increasingly essential in driving strategic and commercial decisions — making this internship ideal for someone who bridges both business and data perspectives.

As a KYC Intern, you will support the end-to-end onboarding process for new and existing investors. You will work closely with the AML team, Sales, Fund Management and Accounting to ensure that we meet all compliance requirements while delivering a seamless client experience. This is an opportunity to learn how KYC and AML work within a professional investment environment, and to contribute directly to improving the quality and speed of our processes.

Your Responsibilities

Preferred starting date 1st of September but flexible

• Assist with the preparation and finalization of subscription agreements for investors;
• Assist with the preparation of investor acceptance and review forms in accordance with our policies and procedures;
• Assist with the finalization of fund closing documentation.

Your Profile

• You are pursuing a Master’s degree in Law, or hold a HBO (Bachelor-level) degree in Law, or similar related filed;
• You have an interest in the field of anti-money laundering and would like to further expand your practical knowledge;
• You have good organizational and problem‑solving capabilities;
• You are able to work independently as well as within a team;
• You are a Dutch native speaker and have a strong command of the English language.
• Is based in or near Amsterdam, or willing to commute to our office.
