Job summary

Leaseweb's Container Services team is building a platform to automate Kubernetes deployment and management for customers. As a Cloud Software Engineer you will design, develop and maintain components powering Kubernetes clusters on Leaseweb Public Cloud, collaborating with engineers, product owners and operations.

You will work with Golang, Kubernetes, ArgoCD and Helm, participate in on-call duties, and help scale a remote-first, Amsterdam-based engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing Kubernetes operators in Golang.
• Experience implementing Kubernetes components (Operators, Controllers, CRD).
• Knowledge of container images, Dockerfiles, Helm charts and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop & maintain Kubernetes controllers & operators in Golang.
• Propose innovative solutions to meet product needs.
• Research, evaluate & recommend tools or components to improve the product.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner and agile team to refine backlog increments.
• Improve & maintain the platform for high availability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, reproduce, debug and resolve complex issues.
• Collaborate on open-source projects.
• Regular on-call duty (Engineer on Duty).
