Job summary

Leaseweb is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to join the Container Services team, focusing on Managed Kubernetes. You will design, develop and maintain components that automate deployment, configuration and management of Kubernetes clusters for customers.

The role emphasizes Cloud-native thinking, observability and scalable architectures. You will work in a remote-first environment with the Amsterdam headquarters as a regular in-person gathering, contributing to a multidisciplinary team that

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Proficiency in Golang and building cloud-native services.
• Familiarity with containerization, Helm charts and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain a platform to automate Kubernetes delivery and management.
• Collaborate with agile team and Product Owner to refine backlog and implement features.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, observability and reliability of the platform.
• Participate in on-call rotations and diagnose complex issues.
• Contribute to open-source projects when possible.
