Job summary

Infoplaza Advertising is seeking a medior KMP App Developer to join our IT Development team in Houten/Amsterdam (Hybrid). You will build weather and travel apps used by millions, collaborating with product owners, mobile developers, UX designers and meteorologists.

The role emphasizes MVVM, clean architecture, modular design and Kotlin Multiplatform, with opportunities to influence UX and app performance while working across international squads.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience with KMP (Kotlin Multiplatform).
• 3+ years in mobile development (Kotlin/Java/Swift).
• Knowledge of MVVM and clean architecture.
• Familiarity with modularization and scalable app architectures.
• Strong understanding of SOLID and OOP.
• Experience with crash analytics tools such as Firebase.
• Hands-on experience with integrating and optimizing ads in apps.
• Strong unit testing skills.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Currently living in The Netherlands with a valid work permit is a must.

What you will do

As a Mobile App Developer, you will:

• Collaborate with product owners, mobile developers, UX designers, and meteorologists to develop and maintain high-quality weather and travel apps.
• Contribute to UX/UI improvements and provide valuable input on design and user experience.

You will work in Infoplaza's Development division with developers of different disciplines and different nationalities. The department is divided into a Weather Technology team and 3 Product Development Squads: Network for our consumer activities, Business for our business customers and Mobility for our mobility solutions. Each squad has dedicated mobile developers, you'll have the opportunity to explore different teams if you wish- allowing you to work on diverse apps related to weather and travel!

What you need to bring

• 1 year experience of working with KMP (Kotlin Multiplatform).
• 3+ years of experience with Mobile development (Kotlin/Java/Swift).
• Knowledge of the MVVM architectural pattern and appreciation of clean architecture.
• Familiarity with modularization and scalable app architectures
• Strong knowledge with SOLID principles and OOP
• Experience with crash and analytics tools such as Firebase.
• Hands-on experience with integrating and optimizing ads in apps.
• Strong understanding of unit testing to ensure high-quality code.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• A problem-solving mindset with a keen eye on delivering the best quality.
• Currently living in The Netherlands with a valid work permit is a must.
