Job summary

The Social Hub in Amsterdam is seeking a Kitchen Porter to help keep our kitchen spotless, safe, and ready for action. You’ll wash dishes and equipment, maintain clean floors and prep areas, and support the kitchen team with essential tasks in a busy environment.

Training is provided, and you’ll join a friendly, collaborative crew focused on smooth operations. No prior experience is required; we’ll teach you everything.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment quickly and thoroughly.
• Keep floors, surfaces, and bins clean following set routines.
• Make sure all kitchen areas, including storage and prep spaces, stay spotless.
• Help the kitchen team with basic tasks when needed – from unloading deliveries to organizing stock.
• Keep kitchen tools and equipment where they belong to support an efficient workflow.
• Follow hygiene and food safety rules like HACCP.
• Handle cleaning materials and gear safely and responsibly.
• Spot and report any issues or hazards right away.
