Job summary

Howdysets Recruitment is seeking Kitchen Assistants for Schiphol-Rijk in a fast-paced international catering environment. A 6-month temporary contract with a permanent position possibility is offered.

The role covers food prep, assembling trays, labeling, stock replenishment, and HACCP-clean workspaces. Two shifts (morning and afternoon/evening) apply, with a competitive hourly rate of €17.50–€33.00; paid overtime and growth opportunities within the company are included.

Qualifications

• You are accurate, flexible, and enjoy working in a team.
• Willing to work in shifts.
• Able or willing to apply for a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) – required for Schiphol access.
• Have lived in the Netherlands for at least 8 consecutive years (for security clearance).
• Possess a driver’s license or live near Amsterdam / Schiphol.
• Basic understanding of Dutch or English.

Responsibilities

• Preparing food items (washing, cutting, portioning).
• Assembling sandwiches, salads, and meal trays according to recipes.
• Labeling and organizing products for dispatch.
• Receiving goods and replenishing stock.
• Keeping the workspace and materials clean in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
