We’re a one-of-a-kind marketplace for buying and selling special objects. Each week, more than 100,000 unique items are auctioned, all carefully curated by our passionate in-house experts.

Having sold over 25 million unique objects, our mission is to become the world’s most popular destination for special objects. As a growing, diverse and sustainable scale‑up, we proudly live by three core values. If these values resonate with you, we’d love to explore how you can join us.

  • Taking ownership and driving impact
  • Being open to change and feedback
  • Being passionate about our mission and our customers.
Your Mission

As a Key Account Manager within the Collectables Sales Team, you will help grow Catawiki’s commercial performance by developing a portfolio of existing sellers with strong growth potential. You will build strategic relationships, create growth plans and help sellers expand their business on Catawiki.

You will work closely with Business Developers, Experts and internal stakeholders to retain and grow top sellers, improve their performance and ensure the right supply reaches the platform.

What You’ll Do
  • Take over newly onboarded sellers from Business Developers and support their continued growth.
  • Identify existing sellers with high growth potential and develop strategies to increase their performance and revenue.
  • Build, negotiate and maintain commercial agreements that create value for both sellers and Catawiki.
  • Monitor seller health and performance metrics to identify risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Grow and retain a portfolio of top sellers through relationship building, targeted communication, upselling and KPI analysis.
  • Collaborate with Experts to bring the right supply from top sellers to Catawiki.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to improve seller support and proactively address opportunities for growth.
What You’ll Bring
  • Strong communication skills across in-person conversations, phone, email and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience building and maintaining strategic relationships with high-value sellers or commercial accounts.
  • A strategic mindset with strong negotiation and value-based selling skills.
  • An autonomous and organised approach to managing accounts, priorities and commercial opportunities.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Commercial, Economics, Sales-related or relevant field, combined with sales experience.
  • Confidence working with data and Google Workspace tools, including Google Sheets and Google Slides, with HubSpot or another sales CRM considered a plus.
  • Excellent Dutch and English communication skills, with a willingness to travel regularly within the Netherlands and Belgium and to the Amsterdam headquarters.
How We Work
  • Work as part of a distributed Collectables Sales Team that connects regularly through team meetings, individual catch-ups and virtual collaboration.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to tackle challenging leads and align on the wider sales strategy.
  • Partner closely with Experts on seller opportunities and with Customer Experience teams to support large accounts.
  • Join quarterly sales meetings in Amsterdam alongside ongoing team collaboration throughout the year.
Where You’ll Be

This is a hybrid role based in Amsterdam. You will work from our Amsterdam HQ a minimum of 2 days per week.

Why You’ll Love Working with Us
  • Create a visible impact by working at scale in a global organisation serving millions of customers across 80+ categories. In our flat structure, every role has a broad scope and directly impacts both our customers and the business.
  • Learn and grow through our Learning & Development initiatives, including clear development plans and mentorship programmes to support your career progression.
