Job summary

Saipem in Amsterdam is seeking a Junior Treasury Analyst to support FX and liquidity management within the treasury team. The role focuses on derivative execution, cash management and collaboration with affiliates across the network.

You will work in a hybrid setting, bridging financial analysis with practical treasury operations while developing your expertise in corporate finance within a global energy leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
• 1–3 years of corporate finance or banking experience.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal skills; Italian is a plus.
• Experience with derivatives trading and SAP is advantageous; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute FX and commodity derivatives with banks.
• Manage a portfolio of Asset Management (analyze, purchase and registration of securities or investment in cash deposits).
• Discuss the financial needs (Loans or Capital restructuring) of our affiliates and challenge the local treasury teams on their decisions.
• Prepare, read and review and execute internal loan contracts.

Purpose of the position: a Junior Treasury Analyst you will be part of our Treasury team in Amsterdam.

How can you support us?

• Execute FX and commodity derivatives with banks.
• Manage a portfolio of Asset Management (analyze, purchase and registration of securities or investment in cash deposits).
• Discuss the financial needs (Loans or Capital restructuring) of our affiliates and challenge the local treasury teams on their decisions.
• Prepare, read and review and execute internal loan contracts.

What are we looking for?

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance
• Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in corporate finance or banking activities.
• Languages: English with strong written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of Italian language is considered an asset.
• Technical Knowledge: Experience as a derivatives dealer strongly preferred. A detail-oriented worker with analytical skills. Efficiency in MS Excel. Good knowledge of SAP is a plus. Autonomous with a hands-on personality, able to show initiative.
