Job summary

Europa Recruitment, in partnership with a leading global dairy commodity trading business, is seeking a Junior Trader based in the Netherlands. You will join an international team, own markets, build relationships and turn opportunities into profitable deals.

You will travel internationally for client visits and trade fairs, while contributing to commercial strategies and achieving ambitious targets within a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Native-level Dutch and fluent English required.
• Currently based in the Netherlands.
• Commercial-minded with a strong sense of ownership.
• Enjoys building relationships, negotiating and spotting opportunities.
• Collaborative team player with ambition, resilience and willingness to learn.
• Willingness to travel internationally for client visits and events.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop existing customer and supplier relationships.
• Identify new business opportunities and build commercial partnerships.
• Monitor market trends, product developments and trading opportunities.
• Execute commercial strategies with experienced traders.
• Prepare and negotiate purchase and sales contracts, including Incoterms and payment terms.
• Visit customers and suppliers and attend international trade fairs.
• Set ambitious commercial goals and take responsibility for results.

Your role

You'll join an international commercial team, working with customers and suppliers across your assigned markets. This is an opportunity to take ownership, develop your network and grow your career in a fast-moving global industry.
