Job summary

Interfood Group is seeking a Junior Trader to join its commercial trade team. You will develop business opportunities, maintain relationships with customers and suppliers, and turn opportunities into successful international deals.

Qualifications

Master's degree in a relevant field.
Native Dutch speaker with excellent command of English.
Entrepreneurial or commercial initiatives demonstrating ownership and ambition.

Responsibilities

Maintain and further develop existing customer and supplier relationships.
Create new business opportunities in assigned markets.
Identify and monitor market and product developments and report to MD and Commercial Director.
Position Interfood as the global dairy expert.
Execute the commercial strategy in consultation with Senior Traders and Traders.
Draft purchase and sales contracts using Incoterms and payment terms.
Visit customers/suppliers in assigned markets and attend international trade fairs.
Participate in the weekly Traders Meeting.
Set ambitious annual goals for markets, customers and suppliers.
