Job summary

Societe Generale Netherlands is seeking a Middle Officer Trade Services to support the GTB/Trade Services team in Amsterdam, handling trade transactions for Dutch, Nordic and Belgian clients. You will report to the Netherlands & Belgium Trade Middle Office Coordinator in Amsterdam.

You will collaborate with Front Office, Middle Office and Paris HQ, ensuring smooth operations, risk controls and high service quality across the regional hub.

Qualifications

• Relevant HBO bachelor level.
• Previous experience in Finance or Banking is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Support Trade Sales Team in executing Trade Finance transactions.
• Follow up on client requests and identify opportunities.
• Coordinate with Back Office for monitoring and handling of orders and other issues.
• Collaborate with global Trade Services Network and Paris HQ for cross-location alignment.
• Handle administrative tasks (invoicing, regulatory reporting).
• Create value by identifying synergies across GTB lines (cash management, factoring).
• Perform compliance checks before transactions and obtain approvals.
• Verify availability of credit facilities before trades.
• Participate in ongoing supervision of the trade services desk.
• Monitor credit lines and risk indicators.
