Job summary

Total Solutions in Amsterdam seeks a Junior Middle Officer Trade Services to support the Trade Services team in executing trade transactions for Dutch, Nordic and Belgian customers. You will report to the Coordinator of the Netherlands & Belgium Trade Middle Office, fully based in Amsterdam.

Responsibilities include handling client requests, coordinating with Back Office, ensuring compliance before transactions, and collaborating with global teams to add value and drive cross-border synergies.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Dutch (written and spoken)
• Pro-active team player with strong communication and planning skills
• Experience in Finance or Banking is appreciated

Responsibilities

• Support Trade Sales Team in executing Trade Finance transactions
• Follow up on client requests and needs and identify opportunities
• Coordinate with Back Office on monitoring and handling client orders
• Collaborate with global Trade Services Network and other locations
• Handle administrative tasks related to Trade Services transactions
• Create added value by identifying synergies within Global Transaction Banking lines
• Perform compliance checks before transactions and obtain approvals
• Maintain RMA keys to manage correspondent banks
• Verify credit facility availability before executing trades
• Participate in supervision activities of the trade services desk
• Monitor credit line validation
