Job summary

Horeko, based in the Utrecht office, is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to build and enhance cloud-based software for hospitality and recipe costing. You will work with a team of about 25 developers within a 600-strong global tech group, contributing to features across finance, HR, and ERP integrations.

You should have at least 2 years of C# experience (.NET 8/.NET Core), strong SQL Server skills, and Azure experience, plus a degree in computer science or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years C# experience (.NET 8 or .NET Core).
• Seasoned professional in the Microsoft ecosystem.
• SQL Server experience.
• Azure experience.
• Maintain clean, simple code.
• Interest in financial business software.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Develop features and components in .NET Core C# for hospitality/recipe costing software.
• Collaborate with teammates to deliver stable, scalable solutions.
• Contribute to code quality, testing, and maintenance.
