Job summary

QT Sense B.V. in Groningen is seeking a motivated Junior Hardware / Electrical Engineer to contribute to electrical design, testing, and compliance as part of a multidisciplinary team working on quantum sensing technology.

You will gain hands-on experience with circuits, PCB layouts, prototyping, and certification processes (CE, UL, FCC, MDR) while collaborating with optics, software, and biomedical engineering colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related (or near completion).
• 0-3 years of experience (internships, student projects welcome).
• Curiosity, hands-on mindset, and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Design and test circuits and PCB layouts with mentoring.
• Support prototype assembly, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Learn about compliance and certification (CE, UL, FCC, MDR).
• Collaborate with optics, software, and biomedical engineers.
