Job summary

Beyond Meat, Inc. in the Netherlands is seeking a Junior Product Developer for the EMEA R&D team. The role is hands-on and supports product development and commercialization from laboratory work to production, in collaboration with Senior Scientists and cross-functional partners.

The successful candidate will prepare formulations, run experiments, collect data, and contribute to bringing plant-based products to market while following GMP and food-safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology or Food Science.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience in food product development or internships.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; Dutch is a plus.
• Excellent documentation and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support product development and commercialization across the EMEA portfolio.
• Prepare bench-top formulations and prototypes; conduct ingredient evaluations.
• Assist with data collection, results summaries, and technical documentation.
• Help with manufacturing trials, pilot plant work, and GMP compliance.
