Job summary

World Wide Technology in Oude Meer, Netherlands, is seeking a Configuration Technician to perform production-level configuration and testing of networking, storage, and server devices under engineering guidance.

You will work cross-functionally within the Supply Chain, load OS, apply licenses, update firmware, and document QC records while contributing to process improvements and ensuring accurate configurations.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years hands-on experience with routers, switches, wireless and servers.
• Ability to diagnose issues and implement effective resolutions.
• Strong planning, organizing and resource management under deadlines.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and rack elevations.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Configure and test networking, wireless, telecom, and collaboration devices.
• Configure core network storage and servers per program needs.
• Load OS, apply licenses, and update firmware per requirements.
• Use tools to communicate task status continuously.
• Capture QC records and perform QC checks.
• Complete physical audit of equipment and accessories.
• Provide input for continuous improvement of customer production solutions.
