Job summary

CSMART, assisting the Carnival Corporation fleet, seeks a Junior Engineer in the Netherlands to support maritime simulation studies and mooring analyses. You will work with experienced engineers and learn to run Wartsila simulation exercises and hydrodynamic modelling.

The role targets recent graduates or juniors with an MSc in coastal/ocean/civil engineering or hydrodynamics, and a passion for growth in multiple simulation disciplines. Visa and work eligibility for the Netherlands are required.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or junior professional with MSc and up to 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience with mooring analysis, numerical modeling, hydrodynamics or coastal/ocean engineering is advantageous
• Strong analytical potential and growth mindset

Responsibilities

• Prepare simulator exercises and operate Wartsila simulator software
• Prepare berth, vessel, and wave models for mooring analyses using Optimoor and DHI MIKE Ports and Maritime
• Conduct static and dynamic mooring analyses and prepare technical reports
• Create 2D/3D hydrodynamic flow models with DHI MIKE software
• Analyze metocean data (tides, currents, waves)
