Job summary

NES Fircroft is recruiting for a Junior Manufacturing Systems Engineer on behalf of a leading global biopharmaceutical organization based in Breda, Netherlands. This role focuses on manufacturing systems, automation, and OT within a GMP-regulated setting.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and technology teams to design, test, qualify, and implement systems, while developing expertise in advanced manufacturing technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, IT, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Up to 4 years of experience in Manufacturing, Automation, Operational Technology (OT), IT/Application Support, or Engineering environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Structured approach to documentation and process improvement.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, testing, qualification, and implementation of manufacturing systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot operational technologies and manufacturing applications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and implement system improvements.
• Contribute to system reliability, efficiency, and compliance initiatives.
• Support documentation, training, and change management activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects within a GMP-regulated environment.
• Develop expertise in manufacturing technologies and take increasing ownership of systems and projects.
