Chart Industries, Inc. is seeking a Junior Mechanic Machining to join the Maintenance Shop Team in Zuidland, NL. You will assist with preparation and execution of machining tasks using conventional and CNC machines, under guidance from experienced colleagues.

This role offers hands-on learning, safety-focused environment, and opportunities to develop skills in turning, milling, and measuring parts, with a path toward CNC operation.

Qualifications

• MBO level 2–3 technical education or demonstrated technical skills.
• Willingness to obtain VCA Basic certificate.
• Eager to learn and motivated to develop machining skills.
• Basic skills with measuring tools and hand tools.

Responsabilités

• Assist with preparing work orders by gathering materials, tools, and measuring equipment.
• Perform simple machining tasks under supervision (e.g., turning, milling, drilling).
• Operate basic conventional machines; gradually train towards CNC operations.
• Assist with measuring and inspecting parts according to instructions.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow instructions and work orders accurately.
• Contribute to a safe and orderly workshop environment.
• Learn to read and understand technical drawings.
• Gain basic understanding of CNC controls.
