Job summary

Fastned is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel for its Amsterdam HQ. You will support the legal team across compliance and corporate affairs, with a focus on GDPR/privacy and internal policies, while handling day-to-day corporate housekeeping tasks.

This broad, generalist role offers growth into contract review, consumer law, regulatory matters and other corporate topics, working with a European team and reporting to the Lead Legal NL.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (LLM) in Dutch law or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of legal counsel experience in-house or at a law firm.
• Fluency in English and Dutch (written and spoken).
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Own key compliance topics with a focus on GDPR/privacy and DPAs, LIAs/DPIAs, and data subject requests.
• Maintain and roll out internal policies; support awareness and training initiatives.
• Handle corporate housekeeping: board/shareholder resolutions, KvK filings, UBO registrations and registers.
• Review, draft and negotiate a broad range of contracts including NDAs, services, procurement, and terms.
• Develop templates, playbooks, and DocuSign workflows to standardise processes.
• Monitor regulatory developments and provide timely input to internal processes.
