Job summary

Fastned is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to support the legal team in compliance, privacy, and corporate housekeeping across the Netherlands. The role offers exposure to contract reviews, regulatory matters and broader corporate affairs in a fast-growing European scale-up.

You will join a collaborative legal team with colleagues across Amsterdam, Paris, Cologne, Ghent and London, based in Amsterdam and reporting to the Lead Legal NL. Proactivity and curiosity for technology and AI are valued.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in Dutch law with commercial/corporate/privacy focus.
• 1+ year of relevant legal counsel experience in-house or at a law firm (max 3 years).
• Fluency in English and Dutch (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of compliance topics, especially GDPR/privacy.
• Maintain and roll out internal policies; support awareness and training.
• Handle corporate housekeeping: board/shareholder resolutions, KvK filings, UBOs.
• Draft/negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts (NDAs, services, procurement).
• Develop templates, playbooks, and DocuSign workflows; improve legal processes.
