Job summary

Rostudios is seeking a Junior Financial Accountant & Controller to join our growing Finance Team. You will handle the full accounting cycle for the Netherlands and Belgium, support month- and year-end close, and manage payroll for one country in a hands-on, international context.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounting or financial control.
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles and month-end processes.
• Experience with payroll administration.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with Exact or similar finance/accounting systems is a plus.
• Proactive, structured, and able to work independently in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
• Living in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounting for two countries, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly closings.
• Support year-end audit activities and provide accurate documentation to external auditors.
• Oversee and execute the payroll cycle for one country, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to connect financial outcomes to operational performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and financial workflows.
• Contribute to the overall enhancement of the finance function as Rostudios continues to scale internationally.
