Rostudios is expanding its finance team and seeking a Junior Financial Accountant & Controller to manage the full accounting cycle for the Netherlands and Belgium, support month-end and year-end closes, and take ownership of payroll in one country. Qualifications

• Solid understanding of general accounting principles and month-end processes.
• Experience with payroll administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting process for two countries, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly closings.
• Support year-end audit activities and provide accurate documentation to external auditors.
• Oversee and execute the payroll cycle for one country, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to connect financial outcomes to operational performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and financial workflows.
• Contribute to the overall enhancement of the finance function as Rostudios scales internationally.

Rostudios is a fast-growing international fitness and lifestyle brand, and we are looking for a motivated Financial Accountant & Controller to join our Finance Team during an exciting period of expansion. With new studios opening across multiple countries and continued international growth ahead, this is a unique opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to step into a broad and impactful role early in their career.

As a Junior Financial Accountant & Controller, you will be responsible for the full accounting cycle of two countries (Netherlands and Belgium), supporting our month-end and year-end procedures, and preparing essential financial reports. You will also take ownership of the payroll cycle one country, ensuring accurate and timely processing. This role offers hands-on responsibility, exposure to international operations, and the chance to grow your technical and analytical skills within a dynamic, data-driven finance environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting process for two countries, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly closings
• Support year-end audit activities and provide accurate documentation to external auditors

Your qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounting, financial control, or a similar finance role
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles and month-end processes
• Experience with payroll administration
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience with Exact or similar finance/accounting systems is a plus
• Proactive, structured, and able to work independently in a fast-paced scale-up environment
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
• Living in the Netherlands
