Carrière in Den Haag is op zoek naar een General Accountant met sterke financiële vaardigheden. Je beheert de grootboekadministratie, onderhoudt leveranciers- en contractendatabases en ondersteunt de maandafsluiting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor- or Master-level opleiding in Finance & Control, Bedrijfskunde of gerelateerd vak
• Geen minimum werkervaring vereist
• Mogelijk een startende/zoekjaar-positie als vers afgestudeerde
• Uitstekende beheersing van Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk
• Nauwkeurigheid en detailgericht
• Initiatief en zelfstandig kunnen werken
• Ervaring met SAP en Excel is een pré

Responsibilities

• Beheer van de grootboekadministratie
• Onderhoud van leveranciers- en contractendatabase
• Toezicht op de leveranciersfacturering en accounts payable
• Bijdragen aan maandafsluiting en rapportage
• Update van Forecast en Cash Management samen met internationale teams
• Ondersteuning bij implementatie van een nieuw ERP-systeem
• Werk in The Hague met 32–38 uur per week, voornamelijk tijdens kantooruren

Over de functie

As a General Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the general ledgers, maintaining the supplier and contract database, and overseeing the accounts payable administration. You ensure that all processes comply with company guidelines and work closely with colleagues from Tanzania, Uganda, and the United Kingdom to facilitate smooth information flow. You will also support the monthly accounting close, help keep the Forecast and Cash Management up to date, and assist with the implementation of a new ERP system. You will work in a modern office in The Hague, with flexible working hours and a committed team.

• Manage the general ledger administration
• Maintain the supplier and contract database
• Oversee the accounts payable procedure
• Contribute to month-end closing and reporting
• Update Forecast and Cash Management in collaboration with international teams
• Support the implementation of the new ERP system
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with company guidelines
  You will work between 32 and 38 hours per week, mostly during regular office hours.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Control, Business Administration, or a related field
• No minimum work experience required
• You may be a highly skilled migrant with a search year or a recent graduate
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written
• Able to work with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Proactive attitude and able to work independently
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
