Job summary

Hunkemöller B.V. is seeking a Junior Garment Technician to support product fit and quality initiatives across design, buying and suppliers.

You will assist in aligning fit, size specs and production seals with our HKM block fits, helping manage the technical critical path and PLM documentation. You will collaborate with internal teams on technical fittings, organize fitting days, and ensure suppliers follow the HKM supplier manual.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/HBO in fashion, clothing, or quality control.
• 0–1 year of experience in a related role.
• Proficiency in English (spoken & written).

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring fit consistency and quality management across products.
• Support improvements to fit, quality levels, and supplier procedures.
• Monitor quality standards and liaise with suppliers using the Quality Manual.
• Help review fit and pre-production seals, size specs, and product information.
• Create technical information in the PLM system under guidance.
• Coordinate with internal design and buying teams on technical fit considerations.
• Organize fitting days and ensure samples align with HKM block fits.
• Inform suppliers about testing per the HKM supplier manual.
