Job summary

Hypersolid, based in the Netherlands, is seeking a proactive Junior Financial Controller to strengthen our Finance Team. You will support the financial control cycle: month-end close, financial reporting, budget monitoring, and invoicing, while working closely with operations and project management.

Our finance organization spans the Netherlands, the US, and Poland, so you'll work across borders from day one and build hands-on expertise across the full cycle to grow into broader responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in audit, controlling, or finance.
• Knowledge of Dutch GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Able to collaborate cross-functionally with operations and other business units.
• Curious, analytical mindset; eager to learn and proactive.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Support the month-end close process, including journal entries.
• Contribute to financial reporting and translate data into insights.
• Monitor budgets and project financials; address variances and invoicing questions.
• Handle client and intercompany invoicing with accuracy and timely follow-up.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and intercompany positions.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Provide documentation and analysis for external audits.
• Maintain accurate records in Exact Globe and Scansys.
• Support process improvement and automation initiatives within the Finance Team.

At Hypersolid, we're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Junior Financial Controller to strengthen our Finance Team. You'll support the group's financial control cycle: month-end close, financial reporting, budget monitoring, and invoicing, while working closely with operations and project management.

Hypersolid's finance organization spans the Netherlands, the US, and Poland, so you'll work across borders from day one. You'll build hands-on expertise across the full financial control cycle, a solid foundation to grow into broader reporting and controlling responsibilities as you develop.

What are you going to do?

• Support the month-end close process, including preparation and processing of journal entries
• Contribute to financial reporting, translating financial data into clear insights for the Finance Team and internal stakeholders
• Monitor budgets and project financials, and collaborate with operations and project management on variances, time-writing, and invoicing-related questions
• Handle client and intercompany invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, including intercompany positions
• Process and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Provide documentation and analysis to support external audits
• Maintain accurate financial records within Exact Globe and Scansys
• Support process improvement and automation initiatives within the Finance Team

Who are we looking for?
